Mateo Fletcher

Mateo Fletcher has been an artist since his teens, but his creative journey really took off after leaving several years of monastic life. After completing a solo cycling trip from Texas to California, he began creating handcrafted silver and gemstone jewelry full time.

A few months later, on the advice of a tattoo artist he admired, Mateo committed to drawing every single day. That daily practice naturally evolved into painting, and eventually led him to pick up a tattoo machine of his own. He's now been tattooing, on and off, for more than 11 years.

Tattooing remains the most challenging art form he's ever pursued, but it's also one of the most rewarding. To this day, Mateo still draws and paints every day, continually refining his craft and bringing those ideas to life through his tattoos.

He's excited to be back tattooing full time and looks forward to creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces for every client.
